Celestial Brush Īmaterasu uses the Celestial Brush to rejuvenate wilted plants (as shown), repair bridges, slash foes or create elemental effects. Weapons inspired by the Imperial Regalia of Japan, the Reflector, the Rosaries and the Glaive can be equipped on Amaterasu as either a main or sub-weapon, and used in addition to other melee attacks that the player can have Amaterasu learn through the course of the game. Additionally, rare Demon Fangs can be earned through combat which can be traded for additional, unique items that are beneficial in gameplay but not required to complete the game. The money can also be used to buy new combat techniques at dojos throughout the land. The money can be spent on numerous items from merchants across the land, including healing goods, better weapons, tools and key items for completing quests. At the end of combat, money (as yen) is rewarded to Amaterasu, with bonuses for completing a battle quickly and without taking damage. Ĭombat is staged in a ghostly virtual arena, and Amaterasu can fight enemies using a combination of weapons, fighting techniques and Brush methods to dispatch the foes. By completing quests, side quests and small additional activities (such as making trees bloom into life or feeding wild animals), Amaterasu earns Fortune/Happiness, which can then be spent to increase various statistics of the character, such as the amount of health and number of ink wells for Celestial Brush techniques. The main story is primarily linear, directed through by Amaterasu's guide Issun, though numerous side quests and optional activities allow for players to explore the game world and take the story at their own pace. The gameplay style is a mix of action, platform, and puzzle gaming genres, and has been noted by many reviewers to have numerous similarities in overall gameplay style to The Legend of Zelda series, an inspiration that director Hideki Kamiya, a self-proclaimed Zelda-fan, has admitted has influenced his general game design. Ōkami has the player controlling the main character, Amaterasu, in a woodcut, watercolor style, cel-shaded environment, which looks like an animated Japanese ink-illustration (known as sumi-e) with other styles of art. An even further improved port was released for Xbox One, PS4 and on the Steam platform for Windows PC in December 2017. It contains PlayStation Move support as well as use of the normal controller. The Wii version has earned similar praise, though the motion control scheme has received mixed reviews from both critics and gamers.Īn HD version of the game was released for the PlayStation 3 on Octoand is available for download on PlayStation Network. Although it suffered from poor sales, Ōkami earned high acclaim from reviewers and earned, among other awards, the title of IGN's 2006 Game of the Year. Ōkami was one of the last PlayStation 2 games selected for release prior to the release of the PlayStation 3. ![]() It features a distinct sumi-e-inspired cel-shaded visual style and the Celestial Brush, a gesture-system used to perform miracles. ![]() Set sometime in classical Japanese history, Ōkami combines several Japanese mythology and folklore to tell the story of how the land was saved from darkness by the Shinto sun goddess named Amaterasu, who took the form of a white wolf with celestial markings covering its fur. It was released for Sony's PlayStation 2 video game console in 2006 in Japan and North America, and 2007 in Europe and Australia. lit "great god") is an action-adventure video game developed by Clover Studio and published by Capcom. 845x1200px Okami, Mobile Anime Board HD phone wallpaper.1440x900px Amaterasu, Okami, Suzano, Dragon, Fire, Naruto Shippuuden / and Mobile Backgrounds HD wallpaper.1920x1200px Okami, Video Games / and Mobile Backgrounds, fire wolf HD wallpaper.Okami Amaterasu, Itachi Amaterasu HD wallpaper ![]() 1600x900px Okami Amaterasu Okami Amaterasu for your, Mobile & Tablet.1181x1748px Okami Mobile, okami phone HD phone wallpaper.884x1300px Okami Mobile, okami phone HD phone wallpaper.Okami Amaterasu, Itachi Amaterasu, Japanese Wolf HD wallpaper 1440x900px Japanese 2 kami and Amaterasu mikami for your, Mobile & Tablet.1680x1050px Minimalist Amaterasu Okami by ncoll36 for your, Mobile & Tablet.2560x1600px tails, Animals, Okami, Nine, Ninetails, Digital, Art, Artwork, Amaterasu, Sakimichan, Demon, Foxes / and Mobile Background, Baby Okami HD wallpaper.750x1060px Okami Den, Mobile Anime Board, Baby Okami HD phone wallpaper.

![]() In what moments does a presentation require more from you? When is it appropriate to simply say “thank you” and close your presentation? Being able to give a proper presentation thank you address is a helpful public speaking skill. I'd welcome the opportunity to continue discussing this role with you.As important as an introduction is to a speech presentation, the end of your presentation is what you leave your audience with. We'll be discussing all candidates next week and then I'll get back to you by the end of next week to let you know the outcome. Your role would be to devise and then successfully implement this strategy. As you know, we have a performance management system in place, and from that we have identified some learning and development needs within the organisation. And my other question is how performance in this role will be measured. There's usually an intern or two who you can get some support from also. And then the HR team, which currently has six people in it. Interviewer: Well, there's the HR manager who you would report to. Maria: Who would I mostly work with on a daily basis? Maria: Um, I think we've covered many of the areas I had wanted to address. Right, so, do you have any questions for me? I realise that such an approach with 2,000 staff members will have to happen in a different way, but I bring many ideas with me that can be replicated on a larger scale. Maria: Also, I'm used to taking a very personal approach to employee development. Interviewer: Yes, that would be a good thing. I won't be bringing too many preconceived and possibly inflexible ideas with me to the role. Maria: I can see that it might be perceived as a weakness to not have experience in an organisation of this size, though I see that it could also be a benefit. What do you think will be the main challenges of coming to a much larger company? Well, it looks like you have the qualifications and experience we're looking for. I am also currently working on a further diploma in psychology, with a specific focus on learning and performance management. Maria: Yes, I got a diploma two years ago. And I can see you have an L&D qualification. I'm also a big follower of your brand and feel fully aligned with your image and values. Maria: Well, an organisation of this size would give me the scope to specialise in L&D. So, I'm looking to specialise, and as your company has around 2,000 people, right …? Maria: Well, I very much like the L&D side of my role and I've always had particularly good feedback for my work in this area. And, so why do you want to change jobs now? In addition to payroll, one of the areas I was responsible for was learning and development. As there are only a few of us, we each deal with a range of HR topics. So I joined a company with around one hundred staff and a small HR team. I was looking for a little more stability and also to be part of a larger organisation. Interviewer: Right, and it says here you then left that company about three years ago. Maria: Yes, we only offered services to other companies, not B2C. Maria: Well, in my first job, four years ago, I was working for a small HR services provider which offered HR services, including L&D, to corporate clients. So, your CV looks strong, though it would be good if you could give us an overview, in your own words, of what you've been doing over the past four years or so. Maria: Yes, I very much think that my skills and experience are a good fit for what you're looking for. ![]() We're creating a new role for someone to lead our training and development within the company. Interviewer: Well, as you know, the company has been expanding and we have an opening in our HR department. Interviewer: Hello, Maria. Thanks for coming in for the interview. ![]() ![]() Never insert objects of any kind into this printer as they may touch dangerous voltage points or short out parts, and may result in a risk of fire or electric shock. The program appears to essentially be the same it was prior to the OS 12 upgrade. the pinwheel and slowness issues went away, as did the errant scans after playing wit the preview levels. Maybe this lead to some caching issues with Epson Scan 2? So, after dinner, I restarted my computer and set up some more negatives to scan. ![]() One thing that occurred to me was that I hadn't restarted my computer in the past couple of days, especially since reinstalling Epson Scan 2 (with Macs, restarting the computer when installing new software is rarely required). So, I stepped away from the computer a bit and muddled the issue around in my head. This image was done with the older version of Epson Scan 2 after I adjusted the levels in the preview: ![]() The film is either 126 or 127 (I haven't measured) and I am scanning via wet-mount method with the supplied Epson wet-mount tray. These were most likely taken on a Kodak Brownie (or the like), and to be clear I'm not expecting to get Hasselblad-quality scans. (sigh)Īt the moment, I'm scanning some of my grandmother's old negatives from the 50's. Further, I've run into a new problem: After adjusting the histogram in preview, the resulting scanned image is coming out totally out of whack. Unfortunately, this did not at all resolve my issues. So I uninstalled the older version of Epson Scan 2 and downloaded/installed the newer version. I did some research on this issue, and it seems that since I downloaded Epson Scan 2 in mid-September, there was an updated driver/program made available in October. I get this, for example, whenever I try to resize a box around an image, play with levels in the histogram, etc. Every action I do now results in a "pinwheel" as the program is "thinking". However, a couple of days ago I upgraded to iOS 12 (Monterey) and right off the bat, I noticed that Epson Scan 2 was having problems. Epson Scan 2 was nowhere near as intuitive, and seemed quite clunky. Right off the bat, as an interface, Epson Scan 2 had a lot to be desired over the original Epson Scan. Unfortunately, with the newer 64-bit iMacs running iOS 11 (Big Sur), this meant that my old Epson Scan software would no longer be working. However, in early September, my iMac crashed, and I needed to get a new one. Long story short, I had been using Epson Scan as the interface between my iMac and Epson Perfection V750 Pro for the past ten years. I've now been working with Epson Scan 2 (as opposed to the original Epson Scan) for the past 2 months or so, and to be quite frank, I'm not very happy with it. ![]() Available in 1/2', 1/4', 12mm, and 8mm shank sizes.
